In this work, we utilize ultrasound multiple scattering to evaluate the microstructure of highly scattering media such as the lung, and show that it is possible to identify the presence of lung nodules.

This paper is the result of a collaboration with Dr. Thomas Egan, MD, from the Dept. of Surgery at UNC Chapel Hill.
