New publication in the Journal of Acoustical Society of America

We published an article in JASA, where we propose a phenomenological model of the frequency-dependent attenuation in cortical bone, in order to retrieve the microstructure of the porosity, which changes with osteoporosis and osteopenia.

This is the result of a collaboration with H.T. Banks from the Dept. of Mathematics at NCSU.
